Privacy Policy
This page explains what information roblydic.com collects, why, and who helps me handle it. The site is run by Rob Lydic. It's written in plain language and isn't a substitute for legal advice.
What I collect
- Field Notes newsletter. Your email address, and which signup form you used.
- Contact form. Your name, email address, the topic you choose, and your message.
- PPO Club follow-up form. Your name, email address, practice and city, and, if you choose to share them, the relationship you circled and the promise you wrote on your Trust Map, plus which follow-up options you checked.
Please don't send patient information or other sensitive personal information through any form on this site, including patient names or health details.
How I use it
- To send Field Notes to people who asked for them.
- To reply to messages sent through the contact form.
- To deliver what PPO Club attendees asked for: the follow-up call, the 30/60/90-day check-ins, and early chapters, only for the options you checked.
Sending a message or a PPO follow-up form doesn't add you to the newsletter. You'll only receive Field Notes if you subscribe or check that option.
Who helps me run the site
I don't sell your information. I share it only with the service providers needed to operate the site and send email:
- Netlify hosts this website and receives newsletter sign-ups, contact messages, and PPO form submissions.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, so your browser requests them from Google when a page loads.
When Field Notes moves to a dedicated email service, that service will be named here before the switch.
Like most web hosts, Netlify may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and secure the service. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
How long I keep it
I keep information as long as it's needed for the reason you shared it, or until you ask me to delete it.
Your choices
- Every Field Notes email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To see, correct, or delete what you've shared, send a request through the contact form.
